He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His primary field of research is international finance. His research, thus far, has focused on international spillover of various shocks, such as uncertainty shocks, global liquidity shocks, and oil price shocks, with a special attention on emerging market economies. He has been working on identifying a transmission mechanism of those shocks at both macro- and micro-level.
